What does Dirty Clean Food mean to our Chairman Maz

So, I'm not sure if you know this or not, but Dirty Clean Food is the world's first Regenerative Food Brand.

What’s that mean and why does it matter?  I’m glad you asked!  ;)

Regenerative Agriculture is a 'catch-all' phrase for a bunch of different agricultural techniques, like planting perennial crops, silvopasture, managed grazing, conservation agriculture and several others that you’ve probably never heard of (I hadn’t!).  Plus, we’re trying to re-invent the food system, by going direct to customer and tackling issues like food waste.

Why all these things matter is because if you put them all together, they add up to the number one solution to climate change - that you’ve probably never heard of check out the list here: The Drawdown Project

Yep, bigger than renewable energy or electric cars - or anything else.

Oh, and Regen Ag also helps restore biodiversity, which I personally believe will ultimately be an even greater existential threat to humanity than climate change is. Regen Ag also generally requires more people to work the land, so its hopeful that it can help restore our rural communities as well as ecosystems - we’re starting here on Nyoongar boodja aka the WA Wheatbelt.

Food produced in this way is what Dirty Clean Food sells, and we are the first in the world to have a brand focused on doing that.   So when you support us, this is what you are supporting.

So Dirty Clean Food matters. It’s hopeful.

To all of our customers, on behalf of everyone at Wide Open Agriculture and Dirty Clean Food ... thank you. Please keep it up, and tell everyone you know to tell everyone they know.

Because our food isn't just tastier and better quality… it matters too.

Cheers

Maz
