Grass Fed and Finished Lamb Rump Steaks are a plump yet lean cut, with a generous layer of fat to keep the meat juicy. Rump steaks are extremely versatile and work well with marinades, diced and added to a curry or sliced in pastas and salads.
The rump comes from the back side of the lamb where the top of the leg meets the loin.
Bring steak to room temperature 15 minutes prior to cooking. Grill 3 minutes on each side. Remove and rest for 5 minutes before serving. Cook product in desired cooking method until product is cooked throughout.
This product is frozen for your convenience. Keep frozen below -18°C.
Thaw overnight in the fridge (<5 degrees Celsius) prior to cooking
