Redefining Farm to Fridge
OUR Farmers
KM Farming

Kent and Michelle Rochester are innovative regenerative farmers from WA's Southwest who supply high quality grass fed beef to Dirty Clean Food.
Being on the south coast, Manypeaks receives reliable rainfall and is generally a great climate for growing grass almost all year round. Kent's first foray into holistic planned grazing was in a particularly dry autumn when they were struggling for grass. They were overstocked and both the cattle and the pastures were under pressure.
He began by changing his grazing management, decreasing the amount of time cattle were grazing on one paddock and increasing their grazing density. They saw the pasture recover and bounce back, and this led to experimenting with different density and grazing techniques. It was also the gateway into multi species fodder crops, summer cover crops and biological stimulant and inoculants.
Kent loves to experiment and this is very apparent on his farm - there is always an interesting trial or project going on, and all lessons learned are applied to how they manage the farm. It is a beautiful place with a healthy farm ecosystem and some very happy cows, which is testament to the management style of Kent, Michelle and their team of workers.

Support healthier, sustainable farming systems while enjoying a higher quality protein source. Farms like KM Farms help restore soil microbial diversity and sequester carbon- which helps fight climate change! Grass fed meat is high in healthy fatty acids and nutritional benefits such as lower levels of total fat, and being rich in minerals, calcium, potassium and more.
Unison Farms

Unison Farms is owned by the Nettleton family, based near Boyanup in Western Australia’s South West Region. They are a proud supplier of pasture raised chicken and pasture raised eggs to Dirty Clean Food.
This intergenerational enterprise, comprising three generations, incorporates a Limousin beef stud, pasture-raised chickens for both meat and eggs. The holistic, regenerative management of the farm means that each animal compliments the next. This creates a cycle that replicates that of nature, growing better pastures, creating healthier animals and helping the environment by sequestering more carbon into the soil.
The chickens live a stress free life, where they are moved daily onto new pasture and enjoy living a 'chickens life' - scratching, sand bathing, hunting for insects and eating nutritious and balanced feed. This 'stress free' life creates the best flavoured chicken one can find.

Yanmah Pasture Raised Pork

Bryan and Rae are passionate farmers based at Yanmah, near Manjimup in the Southern Forests region of WA. Bryan comes from a long line of farmers, tracing back to being tenant farmers on Lord Salisbury's Estate in England in 1026. Bryan met Rae in Manjimup when he was travelling around Australia on a working holiday visa, and never left.
Bryan and Rae run a breeding drive of pigs, as well as a pasture finishing operation. Their pigs are on pasture their whole lives, and eat a combination of pasture and pellets, which they need to ensure they are getting enough protein to be healthy and grow well.
They have around 40 Berkshire/Landrace crossbreed sows, and are very big, healthy and friendly girls, weighing in at around 300kg when they are fully grown!
The sows are fully pasture based, and Bryan has set up a unique farrowing system that focuses on animal welfare, minimising piglet losses due to being squashed, and is completely sow stall free. The grower pigs are slowly weaned from mothers via a system of creep feeding, and then go into the finisher pens which have a series of size ‘drafting gates’, which minimises stress for the pigs, and also allows for ease of management.

Bryan is passionate about improving his pastures and keeping his pigs happy and healthy, and we look forward to working with them on their regen journey!
