Our Grass Fed and Finished Rump Cap, also known as Picanha, is an awesome cut of meat and popular with our chefs. Located between the sirloin and topside the cap is tender with a layer of fat that sits across the top. This adds a beautifully rich depth of flavours and moistens the meat as it cooks. 

Incredibly succulent and tender, this cut is great for smoking.

Our 100% grass fed and finished beef is regeneratively farmed.

Spread your favourite dry rub all over and place into a baking tray, cover bottom of the tray with water. Preheat the oven to 160C and cover your baking tray with foil. Roast it for 2-3 hours. Remove foil at the last 20-30 mins.

This product is snap frozen for your convenience. Thaw overnight in the fridge when ready to eat.

Best Rump Cap Ever

The flavor is amazing.

The color texture and taste are different to any other rump cap I've tried.

Regen ag is not just good for the planet its good for your taste buds.

This is my favorite premium steak option for my family. You get the marbling and flavor from a fine cut but at a lower per kg cost and the size is manageable to cut into several steaks for the family even though I am NO butcher. Plus several fun recipe opportunities for this cut if you search on Picanha

Perfect Picanha

Arrived frozen and vac packed.

Can see a lot of care was taken in the butchering. Most of the silverskin had already been removed and there was a pristine 2cm thick fat cap on the whole piece. Buying a whole rump cap means we can cut the steaks exactly how big we want.

Very tasty on the weber! Top quality beef.
