We ordered fresh steaks. For a cheaper cut, these were absolutely delicious. I used the reverse sear method in the Airfryer - 15-20 mins on the lowest heat setting. I then pan seared them in a smoking hot cast iron pan with a generous helping of avocado oil for 2 mins until crispy. I couldn't believe how good they were!
I bought a couple of grass fed thick steaks from Woolies as I wasn't sure it was going to be enough. I used the same cooking method. They were more expensive for a smaller, thicker cut. They and weren't as tender and were almost well done. I'm glad I did the comparison. I gave them to the kids, but they preferred the DCF one! It was more tender.
