Our Grass Fed and Finished Rump Cap, also known as Picanha, is an awesome cut of meat and popular with our chefs. Located between the sirloin and topside the cap is tender with a layer of fat that sits across the top. This adds a beautifully rich depth of flavours and moistens the meat as it cooks.

Incredibly succulent and tender, this cut is great for smoking.

Our 100% grass fed and finished beef is regeneratively farmed.

Easy Subprimal to Practice On

Received two first class rump caps, and quickly cut them up into picaña steaks. My wife likes them fairly lean so I trimmed off enough of the fat cap that I hope to turn it into beef tallow. Fantastic beef, well recommended.
