Ancient Grain Porridge (600g)

Our DCF regeneratively grown rolled oats are blended with rolled spelt, triticale, barley and rye for a fabulous nutty taste and texture. Roasted hemp seed and a hint of spice take it to the next level - hearty, healthy and delicious!

Low GI wholegrains for sustained energy with no added fats & sugars.

A Vegan source of plant-based protein, high in fibre, B vitamins, calcium, minerals & complex carbohydrates.

Ingredients: DCF Rolled Oats, Rolled Spelt, Rolled Triticale, Rolled Barley, Rolled Rye, Roasted Hemp Seed, Cinnamon

Preparation (per serve):

Stovetop

1. Combine 1/3 cup porridge with 1/3 cup cold water in bowl and soak overnight in fridge.
2. Add 1/3 – ½ cup of OatUP milk (or other) and simmer for 5-10 mins on stove top, stirring until it reaches the desired consistency.

Microwave:

1. Combine 1/3 cup of porridge with 1/3 cup cold water and 1/3 cup of milk in a deep microwaveable bowl.
2. Cook on high for 2-3 minutes and stir halfway through (1200W microwave).
3. Remove and add more milk to achieve your desired consistency. Cool before serving.

Serving Suggestions:

1. OatUP – straight up
2. Top with a sprinkle of dried fruit, sliced banana, freshly grated apple, chopped nuts, stewed fruit, DCF honey, yoghurt, chocolate chips…... just saying.
