Thai Fish Burger


  • 500g white fish fillets (snapper or hoki), chopped
  • 1 tbsp kecap manis
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 small red chilli
  • 1/4 cup fried shallots
  • 1/4 cup fresh coriander, finely chopped
  • sweet chilli sauce, to serve


Add fish, kecap manis, fish sauce, garlic and chilli \ to blender and blitz until smooth. Add shallots and coriander and mix well. Shape into 4 patties.

Preheat hooded barbecue to 200 ° Celsius. Set burners to MED and cook patties on an oiled hot plate for about 8 minutes on each side. Serve with sweet chilli sauce.
