Burnt Butter Honey Porridge
Here's a decadent breakfast to try. Not only a delicious and healthy start to the day, but it will also keep your hunger pangs at bay until lunch.
2½ cups Unsweetened Almond Milk
40g Homemade Kitchen Pure butter, chopped
¼ cup Bidjaronning Raw Honey
2 bananas, peeled and sliced, to serve
40g Almonds, toasted and roughly chopped
- Place the oats and almond milk in a medium saucepan over high heat and stir to combine. Bring to the boil and reduce the heat to low. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 2–3 minutes or until the oats are cooked through.
- While the oats are cooking, place the butter in a small frying pan over high heat. Cook for 4 minutes or until foamy and golden brown. Add the honey and swirl to combine.
- Divide the porridge between bowls and top with banana or your fruit of choice, almonds and burnt butter honey.
