Rump comes from the back side of the lamb where the top of the leg meets the loin. It's a plump yet lean cut, with a generous layer of fat to keep the meat juicy.  Rump steaks are really versatile and work well with marinades or sliced in pastas and salads.

 

Chill steak to room temperature 15 minutes prior to cooking. Grill 3 minutes on each side. Remove and rest for 5 minutes before serving.
