Comfort Food at its best

Loved this cut of beef. I slow cooked it with broth, onion, garlic and herbs for a few hours, and it literally fell apart. Great with mash or on burgers (we had both !).

Great

Did a lot of firsts the other day, first time doing a chuck roast, first time doing a dry and wet rub and first time using a meat thermometer and i made pulled beef and it pulled just with fingers. Good smoke ring and bark and did it in the slow cooker, dry rub was salt, pepper and bit of tumeric and wet rub was coles bbq sauce and Stubbs Hickory liquid smoke

Beef and guiness stew

I bought this roast to cut up and put into a stew as i wanted big chunks of meat. The meat was easy to slice and had slight marbling throughout.

I slow cooked the meat over a few hours which gave the tastiest, most tender pieces of beef. Would absolutely by again.
