Bidjaronning Honey - Wandoo (1kg)
Christie spent a childhood roaming the bush and paddocks on her family farm in the WA Wheatbelt, Bidjaronning Springs, inspiring a passion for nature, beekeeping and botanical illustration. She loves observing the bees’ preference for particular flowers and recording their seasonal foraging patterns through botanical drawing. We are excited to share with you these small batch single origin honey varieties, straight from the hive to the jar to you!
March / Bannister / Wandoo
Wandoo Honey has a brighter, lighter flavour than our other eucalypt species, with a mid golden colour and a smooth caramel finish. These trees have beautiful mottled golden bark and can be spotted along the Albany Highway near Bannister.
About our Raw Honey
Our raw honey has been extracted at room temperature, ensuring full retention of the aroma, flavour and enzymes present in natural unheated honey. The honeycomb frames are uncapped, spun, filtered once and poured into jars all by hand. Being non heat treated the honey will crystallize over time, which is your guarantee it retains all its raw goodness.
