Beef Smash Burgers (4 x 160g)
What is a smash burger exactly? As its name suggests, a smash burger is a burger that has been smashed down onto a ripping hot surface, increasing the surface area contact with the pan and resulting in a delicious crispy crust for that added crunch.
Heat up your cast-iron griddle or a large heavy skillet over a medium-high heat. You’ll need your pan searing hot to achieve the crust you would like. Do NOT form patties with your mince before adding it onto the pan. Place the portions onto the pan and smash them flat with a spatula to form patties. Season generously and flip. Immediately place your sliced cheese of choice. Cook until cheese is melted and servce.
