We're teaming up with local businesses to build resilience
As you know, COVID-19 has hit the hospitality industry hard. Within two weeks, hundreds of consumer-facing local businesses have had to reduce offerings to mere necessities or close altogether.
Yes, there is a lot to be morose about.
But there is a lot to be hopeful about too.
For perhaps the first time in history, business, government and citizens around the globe are working together to build resilience in times of unprecedented uncertainty. And then there are the small heart-warming stories as well:
A few days ago, a boy in Palmyra, Perth had his birthday. He couldn’t have a party. So, his friends’ and his friends’ parents drove around his neighbourhood with balloons, singing Happy Birthday.
In Ireland, the hashtag #SelfIsolationHelp is doing the rounds, which people began using to offer assistance to people who are vulnerable or self-isolating.
Italian people in lockdown are keeping each other company by singing, dancing and playing music from the balconies.
Connecting with local businesses who are struggling
At Dirty Clean Food, we are striving to do our bit to promote caremongering—not scaremongering—too. So, we’ve teamed up with some local hospitality businesses who are struggling.

Plus, we thought you might like to know more about the passionate folk in the community who are working hard to make a positive change in the world.
After all, now more than ever, the decisions we make as conscious consumers can be the difference between creating a better world and stagnancy.
