Stay cool, calm and collected, eat healthy food and support your locals

As coronavirus progresses and local produce continues to fly off shelves, we have been working with West Australian farmers, processors, retailers and restaurants to take 3 key actions to help you stay healthy and well-stocked.

You can take these actions, too. And together, we can make sure the community can stay resilient, calm and kind during these uncertain times.

They are:

1. Stay cool, calm and collected

Don’t panic and buy up entire sections at the supermarket.

We are working with capable and confident farmers to make sure there is enough delicious grass-fed beef and lamb to go around - for you, your family and the rest of the community.

Plus, we are making sure there are plenty of vans on the road for our delivery service. We deliver to your door, Monday to Friday. We simply knock, wave and leave at your door. So you don’t have to worry about entering busy supermarkets.

2. Eat healthy food

Eating fresh, healthy and local food has always been the right thing to do for your body.

We want you to eat local, fresh food - risk-free.  Already, we only source from local farmers. That means minimal food miles and handling. Plus we package the goods in food-safe pouches.

But we have also taken extra provisions, too. We have put hand sanitisers throughout our supply chain. Even the delivery drivers are cleaning their hands before handling the cartons that hold your goods.

3. Support your locals

Social distancing is important. But that doesn’t mean we still can’t connect or be here for each other. One way you can support your community (and the world) is by choosing to support local businesses.

We don’t mean us, necessarily. We are talking about the farmers and restaurants who we are also trying to support. After all, these smaller businesses get hit the hardest. So if you are going to go out for dinner, please consider dining at Dirty Clean Food’s local partners. You can read the full list here

Lastly,

We, at Dirty Clean Food, would like to offer sincere condolences to anyone who has been affected by this catastrophe.
